Playing Two Sports

I've heard many debates about whether or not an athlete should concentrate on just one sport if they really want to make it to the next level. For the most part I don't think they should. Having the ability to play more than one sport shows that you can good athletic ability. Often times, on the softball field, it also means that you're versatile and can contribute in more than one position. Now, this is not ALWAYS true, but generally speaking it is true. I also think that college coaches like to see that great athletic ability.

Anyway - I just thought I'd share an article about a young lady who has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Tennessee. Guess what? Softball isn't her first love as far as sports go. Granted, she may not be the norm, and maybe not everyone can do what she is doing. Then again, not everyone is a DI softball player either right?
