Speed Training Report Special

I just found out about a new Speed Training Resource that I think you may be interested in. I love speed training because speed is such a great asset to have when playing softball and there is quite a bit you can do enhance your speed. As a coach, I'm always looking for fun new ways to help my players increase their speed. As a parent I also look for ways to give my daughter an edge the competition may not have.

The Speed Training Report is a monthly, offline newsletter that gets mailed straight to your door. But who's creating this newsletter? Some of the best Speed Training instructors in the world who have experience at the highest levels of competition. There are a number of experts that will be contributing to what you'll receive each month. Click here to learn more about who you'll be hearing from.

Here is just a small part of what is included in the monthly Speed Training Report:

Sport specific programs and techniques for developing
superior speed

The exact steps to take and workouts to use when developing speed for your horizontal jumpers

The missing link in youth (ages 7 – 17) athletic development

The difference between agility and mobility
and how to develop each of them

Why mechanics and technique are the key to long term athletic development

Program design techniques for developing optimal conditioning in field sport athletes

3 foundational movements guaranteed to improve change of direction, speed, and quickness
...and lots, lots more

In addition to the monthly newsletter, you'll also get a CD every month with audio interviews created just for this Speed Training Report. Plus you'll have access to live tele-seminars with the experts and many more useful bonuses. But you really have to take a look for yourself and see all that is being offered. Click Here for all the info.

March - Big Month for AAF

Wow - March was an amazing month at AllAboutFastpitch.com! January 2007 was our previous BEST month for visitors with 7,986 unique visitors and 117,217 hits. However, March, just about blew that out of the water with 13,852 unique visitors and 199,828 hits! This is a great time of year for softball and I think that is reflected in the traffic coming to the site, but I know a lot of you tell others about the site and I really, really appreciate that.

I often get e-mails asking if it's okay to add our link to a team website and the answer is always "yes!" Also, if there are any articles at the site that you'd like to share either in hard copy or online, let me know and I'll give you the information on reprint/reusing the article. I do not charge for article reprints, so definitely contact me if that's something you'd like to do.

Thanks again for all the support and for spreading the word about AllAboutFastpitch.com! I hope to reach 15,000 unique visitors before the end of the year if not by the summer, so if there's something you like about the site don't forget to tell others about it.

College Softball on CSTV

The other night I found a lovely channel on our Dish Network programming guide called CSTV. At that time a softball game between SDSU and BYU was showing. I was glad to see softball on TV! Then last night there was softball on ESPN too. I think in the mainland US it may have been in the wee hours of the morning, but since Hawaii is hours behind the East Coast it was more of a late night slot rather than a wee hour of the morning showing. I guess that's one good thing about being in Hawaii....softball ends up being on at times when I'm actually up to watch it.

Hopefully, one day, there will be a television station that covers even MORE softball throughout the year. I know in Hawaii there is more and more college softball and high school softball being showed on TV. I would love to see the trend take hold here and in other places of the country. I certainly think that softball is much more interesting to watch than baseball. But, that's just my personal opinion and I'm probably biased. ;)
