Should young pitchers pitch every day?

I don't think young pitchers should pitch everyday. For one thing, their arm will begin to wear out and they will be done before college. Another thing is that they will get tired of pitching and begin to see it as more of a chore than having fun (which is what it is suppose to be) and will not want to play anymore.
