Getting a Youth Synergy
I first saw the Youth Synergy by Easton in the second part of last year. Since I saw it, I wanted to pick one up for my girls. So, today, I did it. I bought a Youth Synergy online. It's so much less than a regular Synergy. Can't wait to get it. I'm sure the girls will be excited as well!
Will let you know what I think of it once we get to try it out. My first thought is that it's too light. My 10-yr-old is small and petite, but she's playing 10U, so I want her to use a bat that weights at least 19 oz, but with they Youth Synergy's length to weight ratio (-11), she'd have to get a bat that's much to long for her in order to get one that weighs 19 oz. So, we'll have to see how the 29 in Youth Synergy performs, even though it's only 18 oz. Even 29 in may be too long for her, so maybe the Synergy won't work for her, but maybe it'll be good for one of the other girls on the team which is another reason I picked it up. Not all the girls on the team have their own bat (though most do), so we're picking up a couple extras so that everyone has a bat to use in the game.
