High School Softball
Well high school softball starts next month. I'm attending a coaches meeting tomorrow night and a speed clinic put on for the high school on Friday. I'm definitely looking forward to the season. We'll have quite a few seniors this year, so hopefully they'll all be motivated to go out on top, especially after last season's runner up finish. I also have a couple of counselors to talk to once school starts up this week because there are a couple of players that we need to get registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse since they've told me they want to go on and play college softball.
These past two weekends we've taken my oldest daughter (8) to the speed clinich offered by Hawaii Speed and Quickness here in Hawaii. She loves going and it's such a great value. Plus for the $10 that the session costs, she's received a coupon for a FREE 16 oz. Jamba Juice ~ that's about a $4.00 value in itself! Now I wish we started taking her sooner because there are only 2 more weekends of clinics left for the year and then it won't start up again until 2006. I know she'll miss it, but I'll probably have her work out with our high school girls once we start conditioning.
We'll - back to my day job - I've got quite a bit of work waiting for me on my desk.
